Project Description

Located atop Wayne 427, one of the Main Line's premier residential developments, this custom penthouse was designed as a highly personalized residence where every material, finish, and architectural detail reflects the homeowners' vision. While the building provides the setting, the residence itself is entirely its own.

From the beginning, the objective was not to create a showroom, but a home with warmth, texture, and permanence. Natural materials, custom architectural details, and carefully considered proportions give the interior a sense of character that feels collected rather than designed.

The kitchen anchors the home both visually and functionally. Custom cabinetry, a substantial center island, reclaimed wood ceiling details, iron shelving, and a brick feature wall introduce depth and texture while supporting the clean, contemporary architecture throughout the residence. Every finish was selected not as an individual statement, but as part of a cohesive material palette that carries from room to room.

Floor-to-ceiling windows bring natural light deep into the living spaces and strengthen the connection to downtown Wayne, while the open plan allows each space to transition naturally into the next.
