Project Description

Originally a quaint two-bedroom cottage, this house has undergone renovations to enhance its picturesque surroundings. With the addition of a master suite, a mudroom, and a breezeway, the house blends functionality and comfort seamlessly. We've ensured exterior uniformity by using indigo-gray clapboard siding and vintage oak doors throughout. The oak French doors lead to an inviting entryway with custom herringbone marble flooring. The master suite features a cathedral ceiling, bringing in light and grandeur, with exposed oak beams and sloping pine-tongued ceilings. The suite's bathroom mirrors the elevated cottage atmosphere of the bedroom, featuring an antique black clawfoot tub, reclaimed wood paneling, and soapstone countertops. The dark stone theme extends to the kitchen's spacious island, creating a striking contrast with warm maple butcher block countertops and brass fixtures. This space captures the original rustic cottage charm while adding refined and luxurious elements.
