This luxury whole-home renovation in Bryn Mawr reflects the value of thoughtful collaboration between builder, designer, and homeowner. Janiczek Homes partnered with Marc-Michaels Interior Design to transform a longtime family residence into a home that balances refined design with everyday livability.

Renovations of this scale require far more than exceptional finishes. Every phase begins with careful planning, detailed budgeting, and close coordination between the design team, skilled craftsmen, and trade partners. Our role was to execute the design with precision while ensuring every detail worked together as a complete home.

Throughout the renovation, custom millwork, architectural detailing, lighting, cabinetry, and natural stone were integrated to create spaces that feel cohesive rather than decorative. Consistency in proportion, material transitions, and craftsmanship allows the home to feel timeless instead of trend-driven.

The kitchen serves as the centerpiece of the home, featuring custom cabinetry, a quartzite waterfall island, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, and a custom metal range hood. Every element was carefully coordinated to support both everyday living and entertaining without compromising the clean architectural character of the space.

The primary suite was completely reimagined with custom millwork, tailored storage, designer lighting, a freestanding soaking tub, and carefully detailed stone finishes. Secondary bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces received the same level of attention, creating a consistent experience throughout the home.
