Ardrossan Farm New Home

Location: Villanova

Architect - Fred Bissinger

Project Type: New Construction

Project Description

This Ardrossan estate home, constructed as part of the initial phase, beautifully captures the grandeur of its surroundings. Architect Fred Bissinger employed a mix of materials to create an exterior that is both striking and intricate. From the street, you'll be greeted by a remarkable Avondale stone façade, adorned with carefully placed cut limestone accents, notably featured at the entrance and above the parapet. While the design exudes vintage charm, it doesn't compromise on modern amenities.

Inside, you'll find rich, warm-toned hardwood floors that seamlessly flow into the spacious great room. This expansive living area boasts high vaulted ceilings and generous windows, creating a formal yet inviting ambiance. With a limestone fireplace and a cozy seating area, the room effortlessly balances formality and warmth.

The Primary Suite takes design cues from the great room, incorporating rich hardwood and vaulted ceilings, complemented by faux marble trompe-l'oeil wall finishes. Extending from the suite, the bedroom leads into a snug, wood-paneled reading room complete with a French limestone fireplace. It's the perfect spot for a moment of solitude and introspection.
